As revealed in a Tout recorded at WrestleMania Axxess Thursday night, Booker T will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his brother and former tag team partner, Stevie Ray, in Madison Square Garden.
?To have my brother induct me is the only way it should be,? an emotional Booker told WWE.com moments after the announcement. ?I followed my brother around when I was a little bitty kid. I wanted to be like him.?

Breaking into sports-entertainment together as The Huffman Brothers, the siblings got their big break in World Championship Wrestling in 1993, under the memorable name of Harlem Heat. Introduced as Kane and Kole, Booker T and Stevie Ray found their stride the following year when they changed their names, linked up with the great Sherri Martel and won their first WCW Tag Team Championships. By 1999, when the brothers competed as a duo for the last time, they had beaten teams like The Steiners and Sting & Lex Luger to claim the titles on 10 separate occasions ? a WCW record that no other duo came close to touching.
?All those years on the road, knowing I had backup gave me what I needed to go out and perform at the highest level I possibly could,? the former World Heavyweight Champion and SmackDown?s current General Manager said. ?My brother was always my biggest supporter.?
Stevie Ray and Booker T were at odds when WCW was purchased by WWE in 2001, and Stevie never joined his brother in WWE. Since that time, sports-entertainment fans have been anxiously anticipating a Harlem Heat reunion. They will finally get it on Saturday, April 6, when the most successful team in WCW history gets back together for one very special night.
As the soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer said, ?This may be the one last chance people get to see Booker T and Stevie Ray together on stage."
